User Research

To ensure the design of BLUE AQUA met user needs and preferences, we conducted a comprehensive user research process. This process included the following steps:

🎩 1. Stakeholder Interviews:

• Managers emphasized the need for an integrated dashboard to improve agent efficiency and real-time monitoring. They also sought scalability.

📋 2. User Surveys:

• Agents reported frustration with switching between tools and desired an intuitive interface with key information upfront and AI-driven support for complex queries.

🕹️ 3. Usability Testing:

• Agents found the interface easy to use, with faster task completion, though AI suggestions needed minor refinement for clarity.

👥 4. Focus Groups:

• Participants highlighted difficulties with finding information quickly and suggested improvements for notifications and real-time monitoring.

📊 5. Analysis and Implementation:

• Feedback led to refined AI suggestions, better info display, and improved task management, boosting efficiency and meeting stakeholder goals.

Interview Question

As a manager, how do you monitor the performance of your team using the current system?
Is the system providing enough real-time data for informed decisions? If not, what additional data would help?
Have you encountered any difficulties with the layout or structure of the system? How could it be improved?
Would a built-in chatbot or AI assistant improve your workflow? If yes, in what areas?
In terms of the UI design, how well do the visual elements (colors, icons, buttons) guide you through tasks during a call?
What upcoming trends in call center technology do you think should be incorporated into the OPRIX system?
If you could change one thing about the user interface to improve your workflow, what would it be?
How does the existing interface support or hinder agent training and performance tracking?

Design

For this project, I used both glassmorphism and flat design principles. Glassmorphism provided a sleek, frosted-glass effect with translucent elements and subtle shadows. Flat design emphasized simplicity with bold colors and clean typography for an intuitive user interface. Additionally, I adhered to the company’s brandbook to ensure consistency with their established visual identity.
